RV Sabbatical Adventure

We have had a busy couple of days spending time with family which has been awesome! It has been many years since we have seen some of our nieces and nephews so it has been great to reconnect and catch up. They are all grown up with having their own families and they were all there to enjoy a fish fry on Sunday. Everyone had a great time and all the kids spent most of the time in the pool. We are very appreciative of the hospitality and the great food! Nothing better than time with family!

Yesterday started with Ronnie and I playing golf, which I have not swung a club in two years. The weather was amazing and I actually played a decent round of golf with a few mulligans along the way. One learning as we wrapped up the round on the 18th green was the fact that my putter was not working as designed. Ronnie noticed that the face wasn’t striking the ball correctly. It was slightly bent and he straightened it with it now working properly. Not that I would know why it might be bent…could be frustration with my game during past rounds.

The rest of the day was spent riding around on the Pulchny resort enjoying the beauty of the area. We also checked out the future sight of their new home that they will start building this year. It has a beautiful view of Lake Eufaula and the surrounding wooded area. We took the tour up the mountain and around the back forty. I have provided several photos of the view from our tour. Thank you Mom, Kathleen and Ronnie for being such great hosts, we are having a great time!

The weather has been amazing with no rain and we are looking forward to enjoying the rest of the week hanging at the Pulchny resort!
