Monday was the start of our fun week with our family in Fort Collins. We started the day thinking we would head to Boulder and visit Celestial Tea. So we quickly learned for the GPS that they were closed on Monday. Thanks to GPS we did not make an hour trip to find this out. We pivoted to grabbing lunch at a local Mexican restaurant which was fabulous. We then proceeded to checking out the New Belgium brewery. We enjoyed grabbing a cold beverage at the brewery as we waited for the tour to start. We quickly learned on the tour that we would have plenty of opportunities to sample the available beverages. Roxie, Lucy, Theresa and I really enjoyed the tour. We learned that New Belgium has the number one selling IPA in the country. The IPA is the Voodoo Ranger line of beers. The tour was great especially all the sampling along the way.
Ed, Ken, Marcus and Scott all went white water rafting for 3 hours as we toured the brewery. Lauren, Cole and Josh all arrived Monday afternoon. Ed cooked up some great steaks along with help from Roxie, Theresa and Cole on all the side items. We enjoyed an amazing dinner and then headed out to a local ice cream shop the Churn for dessert.
Great day and sharing photos below for your enjoyment!
