Day 41: Going to the Sun Road Tour in Glacier National Park

Happy Sunday from the Black Hills in South Dakota! Sorry for the late update from our amazing time in Glacier National Park. The internet has not been my friend when it comes to loading pictures. If all goes as planned, I will bring everyone up to speed today on our amazing journey.

We started our first full day in Glacier National Park taking a guided tour through the Glacier Institute. The tour was the “Going to the Sun Road.” It is an engineering marvel that spans from the West entrance to the East entrance. It should be on your National Parks must dos as the views are incredible! We spent 8 hours enjoying the scenic views and the history of the park. Julia our tour guide was incredible and very knowledgeable of the park. She also was very skilled driving the winding and narrow road while providing us amazing information. We were also blessed with amazing weather as you will see in the pictures. Clear skies made for impressive views and million dollar photo opportunities. Theresa booked a perfect tour and she enjoyed the ride even with the high views! We did switch seats on the bus quite often depending which side had the drop off. Glacier National Park did not disappoint, amazing place!

Incredible day in Glacier National Park and I hope you enjoy the pictures.
