Day 46 – 48: Travel & Another Day in Yellowstone National Park

We said goodbye to Big Fork and Glacier National Park as we headed to Three Forks, Montana. We apparently like towns in Montana with a Fork in their name. We rolled into Three Forks early afternoon and we were ready for a late lunch after a quick set-up. I was very happy that the local grocery store had fried chicken as I had craving for it. We enjoyed our lunch and the it was nap time. Another successful travel day behind us.

The next day we headed back to Yellowstone National Park. We were only 90 minutes from North entrance and we were excited to visit Lamar Valley. Another great weather day for a road trip and even better Theresa drove. Yellowstone is one of our favorite National Parks and we could not pass up another opportunity to visit. We were not disappointed. The views were amazing. We were able to navigate through the park without any traffic jams. Theresa was very excited to see Buffalo and Lamar Valley delivered with herds of Buffalo. We captured a lot photos which I will share. We enjoyed a picnic lunch by the water and kept our eyes open for bears. We were pleasantly surprised that the park was not busy. This made it possible for us to see everything we wanted to see. We are National Park junkies and this trip has hit the mark for us.

We wrapped up the quick stay in Three Forks and headed to Hardin, Montana on Day 48. Hardin was a travel stop on our way to the Black Hills.

Enjoy the photos from Yellowstone and we look forward to providing some great photos from the Black Hills. Thanks for following us and we are having an amazing time!
